Cone Tapered Shaft - Furnish and erect, where shown on plans, a cone tapered aluminum flagpoles, complete with base, base cover, and concrete anchors. The shaft is to be fitted with an internal halyard revolving truck system (or external halyard revolving truck system or fixed halyard pulley system.)

Flagpole Detail
Concrete anchors shall be hot dipped galvanized with a minimum ultimate pullout strength of 20,000 pounds.
Tilt base hinge assembly (when used) shall be made from SAE 4145 and finished by cadmium dichromate plating. The hinge pin shall be stainless steel.
Base cover shall be spun aluminum alloy 6061…see specifications..mm in diameter with a wall thickness of …see specifications..mm.
Tapered shafts shall be aluminum alloy 6063-T6.
Sectional shafts shall be aluminum alloy 6351-T6.
Ball shall be …see specifications..mm in diameter. Colour of ball shall be (specify natural, gold or black).
All revolving trucks shall be cast aluminum fitted with antifriction ball bearings.
Finish of cone tapered shafts and base cover shall be (specify standard satin brush finish or, optional at extra cost, clear anodized CE/AN 0.0006, special paint or anodic finish to customer's requirements).
Finish of sectional shafts and base cover shall be (specify standard clear anodized CE/AN 0.0006 or, optional at extra cost, special paint to customer's requirements).
Flagpole Construction and Finish
STEPPED SHAFT ALUMINUM: Poles shall be fabricated from seamless aluminum tubing alloy 6351-T6. Standard finish shall be etched and clear anodized
CE/AN (0.0006).
CONE TAPERED ALUMINUM: Poles shall be fabricated from seamless tubing alloy 6063-T6.
Standard finish shall be satin brushed (etched and clear anodized CE/AN (0.0006) (finish or colour anodized finish are extra cost options). Poles shall be shipped in one or two pieces at the option of the supplier
Flagpole Fittings
Poles shall be equipped with standard aluminum ball …see specifications..mm in diameter with an etched and anodized finish. Colour of ball shall be (specify one of the following: clear, gold, black). (Pulley assembly, or Revolving Truck optional at extra cost). Cleats shall be 152mm cast aluminum. Halyard shall be 8mm, No.12 Nylon braided rope. Wall Brackets shall be cast aluminum alloy almag-35 with same finish as pole
